Denny R. Elliott is a 18 year veteran of law enforcement. He served as a patrol officer, training officer and as Chief of Police. He served nine seasons with the Kentucky Governor’s Marijuana Strike Force where he served with a county wide tactical element of a multi-agency eradication team. He spent his last five years on the team as a Sniper and Sniper team leader. He served as a captain and commanding officer with a federal law enforcement agency where he developed the Tactical Marksman Program and oversaw the development of a tactical unit. He has acted as a consultant for other police departments in the area of patrol rifle. Denny served as the Tennessee state representative for the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) for four years and is a member of the American Sniper Association, the National Tactical Officers’ Association and the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. He is a certified instructor in Firearms, Tactical Rifle, Force on Force, Defensive Tactics, Baton and Edged Weapons. Denny is the co-owner of Sniper Pro Shop. He currently serves as a deputy for a Middle Tennessee Sheriff's Office working as a patrol deputy, S.W.A.T. Operator, Sniper and Team Training Officer.

The SPS High Ground Training Group

Sniper Pro Shop and High Ground Training Group utilizes select alumni of our past sniper courses as Adjunct Instructors. These handpicked instructors are true students of their craft and voluntarliy participate in the SPS Adjunct Instructor Program which requires levels of experience, training and reading assignments for participation. All Sniper Staff Instructors are members of the American Sniper Associaiton and have completed a rigroous training program, a mandatory reading list and provide a minimum number of hours per year to the SPS program schools. Many of these dedicated snipers come to assist in the course on their own time and at their own expense. In addition we utilize specialized instructors in areas such as tactical medicine to assist us providing the best training possible.
